Alejandro ‘Lex’ Gascó, was born in Caracas, Venezuela in March, 1987. In 2013 he obtained his architecture degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, but his architecture experience began years before while working for his parents architecture firm since 2008. He has participated in international Workshops, awarded for the best thesis project of the last college semester (Ameba Project), that he did in collaboration with Ariadna Scaparone.
After college he has collaborated with various architecture firms, distinguish working with architect Oscar Tenreiro who won the Venezuelan Best Architect Award 2004. Lex also has been a professor assistant for two years at Universidad Central de Venezuela in design classes for 1st year students. He focuses on projects related to architecture and interior design, landscaping, urban design and construction. Lex moved to Barcelona in 2015 to do a Master in Architectural Photography, then started working in a small architecture firm doing residential/commercial projects and rehabilitation. Interested in new ideas, new concepts, new ways of building and expressing it the right way. He is always involved in any art or design events, and very passionate about photography, music, soccer, and art, which helps him to find different ways of experience and knowledge.
